Using Cricut to Create Custom Decals For Dessert Charcuterie Boards

Using Cricut to Create Custom Decals For Dessert Charcuterie Boards

Use your Cricut cutting machine to make easy, fun "vegan" and "gluten-free" vinyl decals for dessert charcuterie boards.

With a range of dietary preferences and restrictions commonplace today, your family or friend group likely includes people who require vegan, gluten-free, nut-free or other dietary options. Show your special guests that you care about each and every one of them with these quick and simple vinyl decals that make it clear which charcuterie board options are safe for them to eat.

I used my Cricut Maker to make cute "vegan" and "GF" decals to decorate my dessert (with a heavy emphasis on chocolate) charcuterie boards. I'll show you how you can do the same with this easy tutorial.

3 Fast and Easy Vinyl Projects To Make With Cricut Joy

Fast and easy vinyl projects to make with Cricut Joy

Have you heard of the new Cricut Joy? Do you already own it? Is it on your wish list? Whether you are considering buying the Cricut Joy, you already have it or you're here just wondering what the heck a Cricut machine does, I have three fast and easy projects using vinyl that will give you a good idea of how Cricut Joy can enhance your life and your crafting experience.

If you live in a small space and can't set up a sizable craft room, Cricut Joy could be your new best friend. Even if you do have a dedicated craft room, you may find yourself using Cricut Joy in the kitchen, living room or bedroom (yes, right in your bed!). So far, I've kept my Cricut Joy on top of a cookbook shelf right in the kitchen. It's so convenient to grab it and make a quick project (some in under 15 minutes) at the kitchen table or on the coffee table in the family room. You'll be tempted to make cute little projects while binging your favourite shows on Netflix.

Child's Memory Box with Hand-Cut Vinyl Decals #12monthsofdiy

This month, our #12monthsofdiy projects are sponsored by Expressions Vinyl. When I found out that our material was adhesive vinyl, I knew exactly what I would do. This diy/organizing project has been a long time coming. I mean a looooong time! If you are pregnant or the parent of a young child, I urge you to start a memory box right now. I mean it...go now.

This is a case of "Do as I say, not as I do." Rather than creating these handy, tidy, stackable memory boxes when my kids were small, I just got around to doing them now...when my son is going into high school. With daycare and 10 years of school behind him, it isn't a pretty organizing job!
