Gifts for Her: HAND EMBROIDERED ART HOOPS

HAND EMBROIDERED ART HOOPS

My Trash and Treasure on Etsy

The very talented Ruthie, of My Trash and Treasure blog, creates lovely hand embroidered art hoops using her own original patterns. Custom embroidery is available too, so you can request a one-of-a-kind gift for that special mother, grandmother or cherished friend. I told Ruthie that I like owls and flowers and she came up with the beautiful miniature design above. Choose from larger pieces as well, like this unique "Alice in Wonderland" piece, perfect for the book lover on your shopping list.

Bunny Bag

Today I'm sharing a look at an easy, fun sewing project I did recently. How do I know it's easy? I made it. That means it has to be easy.

This was only my second sewing project ever (unless you count Valentine's hearts or felt donuts). I used to think that I hated sewing, but it turns out I just needed the proper motivation - making something fun! Have a look at my first-ever sewing project, a dress for my daughter's Canadian girl doll, here.
