Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you get a chance to treat yourself or someone else on this day dedicated to love. These vegan Red Velvet Cupcakes With Salted Buttercream Frosting should do the trick. I created the recipe in partnership with the Reducetarian Foundation and you can head over to their blog to get the recipe and all the instructions for making these easy yet delicious cupcakes.

What is a Reducetarian?

The Reducetarian Foundation is  a non-profit with a mission to improve human health, protect the environment and spare farm animals from cruelty by reducing societal consumption of animal products.

Reducetarians envision a world where consumption of red meat, poultry, seafood, eggs and dairy is significantly reduced. They celebrate small changes in personal and institutional behavior that collectively result in a significant difference in the world. In other words, reducetarians are inclusive of vegans, vegetarians and all people who wish to cut back on their use of animal products.
