Vintage Country Chic & Vintage Bliss Tuesdays Linky Party #101

We celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving just over a week ago. October has been a whirlwind so far and I didn't even get a Vintage Bliss Tuesday post up last week. We had a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner at my sister-in-law's house. She has so many sweet vintage touches in her rural home that I thought I would share a few pictures today. Her home has such a warm and comfy feel. The emphasis is on family (four kids, two dogs, one cat, two turtles, many chickens and a few ducks) as well as food (she's Italian after all!).

They grow their own vegetables and herbs and plenty of garlic, which they tie into lovely braids. Their garlic is the best! So flavorful compared to the store-bought stuff that comes all the way from China.

The wood stove will soon be heating the house with a blazing fire. And I wasn't about to move the baseball off the wood stove for the photo. This home is full of baseball players and baseball enthusiasts. It's a home where kids actually play outdoors!

So many old windows and things on hooks! I love it! Don't you just love all her vintage and homey touches?

Please feel free to link up your posts from the last couple of weeks to this week's Vintage Bliss Tuesday party!
