Vic and Vie Dolls (Giveaway)

When I was pregnant with our first child, I was convinced that we would have a household with minimal toys. But somehow, between birthday presents, Christmas gifts and the occasional purchase of a toy the kids just had to have, our house filled up with an assortment of toys, stuffed animals and games.

Now I'm more cautious of adding to the collection. Any new toy has to be imaginative, useful and/or a certain classic.  Recently, my daughter received a doll that fits nicely into the latter category. As soon as she saw her new Vic and Vie "Laura" doll, she was smitten. She began carrying it around everywhere with her.

Vic and Vie dolls are handcrafted, eco-friendly, classic dolls that every girl (and her mom) can't help but love. My girl will surely keep this doll for a lifetime. Vic and Vie is a woman-made business located on Salt Spring Island, just west of Vancouver, Canada. The company was created by Randee Brinks, a mom of three who loved to create masterpieces for her dolls as a child. Randee changes her collection seasonally and also makes custom dolls.

Each doll is sewn using cotton muslin and stuffed with hypoallergenic, sustainable, polyester fiberfill. The removable clothes are created with vintage and upcycled salvaged fabrics and re-purposed lace. I adore Laura's hand-embroidered face, with her twinkling, star-shaped eyes and pretty, heart-shaped mouth.

Vic and Vie ships worldwide and I think the dolls are quite reasonably priced too. Visit the Vic and Vie website to see the whole adorable selection. You can follow the company on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram too.

Enter to win a Vic and Vie doll!

Residents of Canada (excludes Quebec) and the U.S. may enter below until September 10th. Two winners will each receive a doll. Good luck!
