Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well. This What I Ate Wednesday, I'm taking a look at what I ate on Tuesday.
I started the day with this Granola Girl yummy vegan granola, topped with soy milk. I love granola, but I often find there is a slight something I don't like about each one. That wasn't the case with this one. I found it a perfect blend of crunchy and sweet. I got the sample in the July Snackbox. Canadians can enter to win a Snackbox here.
I followed up the granola with some spelt bread with peanut butter and jam. I wasn't in a creative mood when it comes to food yesterday.
I also need to get to the grocery store. For lunch, I had the bit of hummus left in the container, along with the rice chips that came from the bottom of the bag (as you can see). I added orange and nectarine slices for more nutrition.
We took the kids to glow in the dark mini golf in the late afternoon. We don't like to eat late so, for dinner, my husband made veggie burgers with a quick fried rice with chunks of teriyaki marinated tofu.
Full disclosure - I also ate salt and vinegar chips in the evening. I get bad like that in summer!
