Happy Friday folks! I hope you are all looking forward to a beautiful weekend with lots of sunshine and warm weather. The forecast looks good here: mainly sunny and around 20°C/68°F. It could be a bit warmer, but let's not complain. Once it's hot, it will be too hot.
It is my Friday tradition to share simple cell phone photos. This week, I am also sharing photos that my husband took on his cell phone. My favourite is this photo of his golfing buddies, above. They are a hilarious bunch. I thought this particular photo called for a vintage filter.

He also took some photos of the urban Hamilton neighbourhood he grew up in.
He took this picture of our little girl with one of his old guitars. I think he's hoping at least one of the kids will follow in his footsteps and learn to play guitar. This chick's the one to do it!
Now for my cell phone photos of home and family. We have enjoyed a few perfect, warm days this week.
With warm weather finally here, my boy has been racing to get outside after school each day. He ignored this remote control truck for years, until a kid down the street started playing with something similar. Funny how that goes. I'm glad to see it's getting used anyway.
I can hardly believe it, but the local wading pool is open. It was an ice rink not too long ago.
Warm weather means taking our toes out of hiding. I did my daughter's toenails yesterday. She can hardly sit still long enough to let them dry.
Jolene has no trouble sitting still. Just give her a cozy blanket and she drops right off to sleep. Sometimes she falls asleep while we're talking to her, with her head still up.
Today, I experimented with a recipe for strawberry scones. I thought they would make a nice Mother's Day treat.
Any big plans for the weekend? What does the forecast look like in your neck of the woods?
