Christmas Scenes

Our Christmas Eve Open House is tomorrow and I still have lots to do, but I couldn't help snapping a few photos around the house this weekend. I love Christmas.

The Christmas clock is stuck on six days to go. Oh well.

This guy is helping me make squares while his sister shops with daddy...who has one gift to buy...mine.

The kids have their own little artificial tree. I placed it on a vintage Canadian Tire sled that my sister and I used to ride on together as toddlers.

Granny is great for playing games with the kiddos. There was a lot of arguing this morning...granny included.

My little girl is sharing her bed with granny. And the boy is climbing in with grampy at night. Grampy is tickled pink by it.

They took a selection up from the basement to occupy themselves.

Home Alone is on the TV.

My Christmas playlist is running.

And we are snacking on banana walnut bread.

Still have to wrap all the presents, make sugar cookies and clear those thrifted dishes off my dining room table (again!). Have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends everybody!

    2. ohhh I get it, I thought you meant an open house as in when it's open to the public! We have those here for 'open gardens', where people sometimes pay $1 to go and look at some kind of whizzbang garden setup, like a home that's full on environmentally friendly with food growing everywhere etc.
