Christmas Special Features & Vintage Bliss Tuesdays Linky Party #63

I don't collect vintage Christmas ornaments myself, although I am always tempted when I see the amazing ornaments that others link up at Vintage Bliss Tuesdays. I do have a couple of vintage Christmas stockings in my possession, but they weren't exactly "collected." They are stockings I had when I was a child, making them, sadly, vintage.

With Christmas on my brain this week, I thought I would share a few of the festive items that were linked up at last week's party. Sharon at Blue Willow House blogged about her diy ladder Advent calendar. I absolutely adore the little patterned drawstring bags she found. She placed a small vintage ornament in each bag. Each day she adds an ornament to her tree. I love this idea. Dianne at Deanie's Stash shared a number of great finds, including a vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy sock and an adorable vintage wooden block with an image of Santa on it. These items kind of bring you back to childhood, don't they?

How about you? Do you collect vintage Christmas ornaments or other vintage Christmas decorations?

  2. Thank you Joann for Vintage Bliss 63. I do collect vintage ornaments but this year DS/DGS wanted a Dr. Who decorated tree. I guess in 40 years that will be their vintage Christmas Decorations collection.

  3. Thank you so much for featuring my Raggedy Ann and Andy sock and Santa block. I love vintage items as they take me back to when I was a little girl. I don't really collect ornaments any more but I have a lot of them! Thank you for hosting. I hope you are having a very Merry Christmas season!
