Random Thrifty Finds & Vintage Bliss Tuesdays Linky Party #28

I stopped in at a thrift store yesterday and found nothing except a lovely dining room/kitchen armoire for $59 that was already sold. That's the second lovely cabinet that I have seen at that exact location, both already sold. So disappointing.

Anyway, let's put that aside for the moment. Here are the last few items from my recent thrift store visits. Above, another plate for my food photos. I like the way the pretty flower pattern is around the edge rather than in the middle. I often find that the food covers the best part of the plate. This one is Potpourri Press "Christina," made in Korea, 1991.

With the last of the snow finally melting, I don't really want to think about Christmas...at all. But I couldn't pass up these sweet, nostalgic Jasco Taiwan Christmas scene trivets. I'll pop those in one of the Christmas storage boxes and forget about them for a bit.

This particular find also needs to go into storage. It's a lovely big brown vase with a leaf motif and it reminds me very much of fall. For the moment, I am dreaming of all things summer.

Did you get a chance to check out my trash to treasure vintage spice rack turned nail polish cabinet makeover? I'm am quite enjoying my re-purposed little cabinet!

Have you found any great items at the thrifts only to find a "sold" tag on them?

  1. Hi Joanne, thanks for Random Thrifty Finds and Vintage Bliss 28. Love joining in. It has been very thin for picking in the thrift stores in my area. One Bowling Club Garage Sale saved the month. Have a great week.
