Cool Stuff My Mom Gave Me & Vintage Bliss Tuesdays Linky Party #23

Last week, I shared a look at some of the "ugly" vintage goods my mom has given me. Some of you (including Mom) didn't think they were so ugly. And that's what's so great about the fact that we are all unique individuals with different tastes and preferences. Imagine if we all liked exactly the same things? How boring!

Anyway, this week I thought I would try to redeem myself by sharing some of my favourite treasures that my mom has given me. I adore my little collection of vintage brass candle holders. They generally sit unused (and rarely dusted) on a side table in my dining room. Now and then I give them an appreciative glance.

They are all great, but my favourite among them is the set of two brass dragon candle holders. They are so unusual and yet elegant at the same time.

Do you have brass pieces in your collection(s)?

  5. Cool candle holders! I have no brass-and I am okay with that. I did grow up with lots of brass unicorns though. :)

  7. Those dragons are stunning! We don't have much brass though I do have one brass deer candlestick--it used to be part of a pair, but I have no idea where the other one has gotten off to!
