Haha ... He tolerated the garden centre! Yesterday I cheerfully said to Nick, 'Hey we can go to the garden centre next week', making it sound like a treat. He saw right through it, but still agreed to go anyway.
Good man! :)My husband actually loves the garden centre. He drives me a bit nuts in the spring and summer because he talks about the work that needs to be done outdoors all the time.We just went to the Superstore garden centre today and there was a giant line-up.Enjoy the long weekend!Jo

Thank you Lisa. Very kind of you to say. :)
That's classic, 'tolerated' sums up that expression perfectly.
"Tolerated" is at least an improvement over the usual. Generally he complains bitterly if I make him shop. ;)

Thank you so much! :)
What beautiful photos - I am always jealous of people who can take such lovely images! I think that is how I look in a garden centre too..tolerating! Lovely blog :)http://thepescetarianpantry.blogspot.co.uk
Thank you for your very kind words! I am relatively new to gardening. I mostly tell my husband what I want him to do. So I can't stay too long in the garden centre myself. ;)Jo
